Growth Marketing Lead
About Alchemy Alchemy is the Web3 infrastructure and developer platform that powers millions of users and the world’s most innovative blockchain applications. From enabling $1+ trillion in financial transactions worldwide to scaling L2s and enabling DeFi, Alchemy provides the infrastructure and tools developers need to build reliable, scalable, and accessible experiences. Trusted by companies like JPMorgan, Stripe, Visa, Franklin Templeton, Nike, and backed by a16z, Coatue, Silver Lake, Lightspeed, and Stanford University, Alchemy is building the foundational layer for a decentralized and AI-enabled Web3 ecosystem. For more information, visit alchemy.com . About the Role We're looking for a Growth Marketing Lead to shape where Alchemy invests growth: full-funnel, from self-serve signup all the way through the enterprise sales funnel. This is a high-ownership, strategic seat. You'll decide, each cycle, where our marketing dollars and headcount go for the highest return, and you'll have real influence over the tactics we run to get there. This role has real breadth. You'll own the channel mix we run today, paid search, paid social, SEO, AEO, a lifecycle program we're just getting off the ground, and our website, and you'll decide where each of those gets more or less investment based on what's actually driving signups and pipeline. You'll also go looking for what's next: new channels worth testing as the audience and the industry evolve, and product-led signals worth turning into a marketing motion. And you'll bring visibility to parts of the funnel we can't see well today, both self-serve and the enterprise sales flow, so the whole company can make better calls on where to spend. This is a senior, strategic role. We're looking for someone who's already built full-funnel growth measurement from scratch at a developer-focused B2B company, and who knows how to rank channels by ROI and act on it. You won't be building a growth program from zero, you'll be evolving one: an AI-powered SEO/AEO system already in production, a defined tool stack, and agencies already engaged. You'll decide what stays, what goes, and where you build a team to get us to the next level of growth maturity. What You’ll Do - Own full-funnel visibility for Alchemy's growth motion, from self-serve signup through the enterprise sales flow, including the quality of leads reaching the sales team, so the company can see how every channel performs end to end. - Set the channel investment strategy each half: given current resourcing and goals, decide where marketing dollars and efforts go, and defend that call with data. - Own and continuously re-rank channel ROI, paid search, paid social, SEO, AEO, lifecycle/email, website, ecosystem/partner-driven channels, and any new channel you stand up, identifying the highest-ROI area each cycle and reallocating toward it. - Evaluate and evolve the existing tool stack and agencies: keep, renegotiate, or replace based on what's actually driving signups and pipeline. - Identify, pitch, and test new channels and signals, including product-led growth signals you pick up working with Product, as Alchemy's audience and the industry evolve, then scope and delegate what you find to the right owner: a product marketer, an ecosystem marketing manager, an agency, or your own hire. - Build and lead a team over time: propose and open headcount as the highest-ROI areas demand dedicated ownership, and directly manage the specialists and agencies you bring on. - Represent growth and channel performance in the twice-yearly marketing planning cycle and retro, as a primary voice in where the company focuses its tactics next half, backed by your own data. What we’re looking for - 8+ years in growth or performance marketing at a B2B company with a developer-focused audience and both self-serve and enterprise motions. - Track record of owning full-funnel measurement: connecting top-of-funnel spend to signups to pipeline, and using that to make investment calls, not just channel-level reporting. - Proven ability to rank and reallocate spend + efforts across channels based on ROI, and to kill or scale channels based on evidence. - Experience evaluating and managing agency relationships and a marketing tool stack, with the judgment to know what to keep versus replace. - Comfortable identifying, testing, and standing up entirely new channels rather than only running the established playbook. - Strong cross-functional operator: able to work with Product on in-product growth signals, with Sales/SDR on lead quality and funnel handoff, and with Product Marketing and Ecosystem Marketing on execution you delegate out. - Efficiency-obsessed: instinctively pressure-tests where a dollar or a headcount is going before committing to it. - Familiarity with AI-powered or AI-assisted growth initiatives. - Ability to be in office in SF or NYC 3x a week. Nice to Haves - Startup experience building a growth function from 0 to 1, standing up measurement and channel testing where little existed, not just optimizing an established program. - Has built and led a team, or is ready to hire and manage one as the highest-ROI areas justify dedicated headcount. - Experience in crypto/Web3 or blockchain infrastructure marketing. - Experience marketing an API-first or infrastructure product. Benefits and Perks 🏥 Medical, Dental, & Vision 💪 Gym Reimbursement 🖥️ Home Office Build-out Budget 🥙 In-Office Group Meals 🚅 Commuter Benefits 🌴 Flexible Time Off 🧘♂️ Wellbeing & Mental Health Perks 🧠 Learning & Development Stipend 🌎 Company Sponsored Conferences & Events 💸 HSA and FSA Plans 🧬 Fertility Benefits Alchemy is committed to offering competitive compensation, including base salary as well as bonus and equity. For more information, visit alchemy.com . The Role Build the systems that turn blockchain activity into data developers can use. Alchemy’s Data Services work includes token, portfolio, and transfer APIs, with streaming in the updated roadmap. You will work with Product and customer-facing teams to understand what developers need, then ship improvements and measure their effect on reliability, performance, and cost. What You Will Do - Build and operate blockchain ingestion, indexing, storage, and API-serving systems. - Handle reorganizations, retries, duplicate events, and historical backfills without silently losing or corrupting data. - Improve query performance and data freshness. Make those properties observable to the team and understandable to customers. - Extend API capabilities and chain coverage, with tests for differences in chain behavior and data semantics. - Develop streaming and event-delivery capabilities with explicit guarantees for ordering, replay, and failure recovery. - Reduce the cost of storing, processing, and serving data through measured changes to architecture and query execution. - Participate in production support and incident response for the systems you own. Maintain monitoring, runbooks, safe rollouts, and fixes that prevent recurrence. What We Are Looking For - A track record of independently designing, shipping, and operating production backend or distributed data systems. - Strong programming skills in a production backend language, plus experience with databases, indexing, and query performance. - Experience reasoning about consistency, partitioning, asynchronous processing, and failure recovery. - Evidence that you can diagnose a production problem and improve the system beyond the immediate fix. - Sound API design judgment, including compatibility, pagination, error handling, and data contracts. - Clear communication and the ability to turn an ambiguous customer problem into a scoped engineering project. Blockchain experience is helpful, but not required. You should be interested in learning how chain behavior affects data correctness. Helpful Experience - ClickHouse or other analytical databases; Kafka or similar streaming systems. - Blockchain indexers, EVM logs and traces, finality, or non-EVM data models. - Developer-facing data APIs, real-time delivery, or large historical datasets. - Storage migrations and performance or cost optimization under production traffic. What Success Looks Like Within three months: - You have shipped a customer-facing improvement and can show its effect on data quality, freshness, latency, or cost. - You own a production component, have tested its recovery behavior, and have proposed the next improvement using operational evidence and developer feedback. Benefits & Perks 🏥 Private Health Insurance 💪 Gym Reimbursement 🚅 Commuter Benefits 🌴 Flexible Time Off 🥙 In-Office Group Meals 🧠 Learning & Development Stipend 🌎 Company Sponsored Conferences & Events 🎧 Books & Audiobook subscription with Bookster

Senior Software Engineer, Developer Experience
The Role We are hiring a software engineer on the Developer Experience team. You will own projects from the first problem statement through production, and measure whether they worked. The team owns how developers discover, adopt, and operate Alchemy: the dashboard, APIs, SDKs, CLI, and MCP server that sit between our infrastructure and the people building on it. A growing share of those users are coding agents, so we design for both. Recent work spans enterprise controls, management APIs, developer observability, onboarding, and self-serve growth. Ahead of us is the shift to agents that discover tools, write code, pay for services with x402, and operate onchain infrastructure on their own. Our stack: TypeScript, Node.js, React, PostgreSQL, Temporal, Kafka, AWS, and Kubernetes. What You Will Work On - Agent-native developer tools: our CLI, SDKs, MCP server, x402 payments, and Agent Wallets. - Enterprise capabilities for teams running production traffic: organizations, roles, SSO, key management, audit history, and spend controls. - Public and management APIs for usage, billing, apps, and teams, used by developers, internal tools, and coding agents. - Developer observability and product quality: usage analytics, request logs, alerts, and the reliability of the surfaces developers use every day. What You Will Do - Own projects from problem definition through design, launch, measurement, and on-call. - Design APIs with clear versioning, error handling, safe defaults, and backwards compatibility. - Build data models and services that stay correct and reliable as traffic and customer needs grow, with security built in for users, agents, and services. - Build the user-facing side of your features across our dashboard, CLI, and SDKs, so developers and coding agents can discover and use them safely. - Instrument what you ship. Use activation, adoption, and conversion data, plus direct developer feedback, to decide what to build next. - Write design docs, runbooks, and developer-facing documentation. Review code and technical designs to keep quality high. - Work with Product, Billing, Security, Growth, and other engineering teams. What Success Looks Like At six months, you have: - Execution: Scoped, designed and shipped a project across our APIs, backend services, and dashboard or CLI, and paying customers use it in production. - Ownership : Joined on-call and handled incidents in your area without escalating. Your launches ship with alerts, a runbook and a rollback plan. - Impact : Moved a number you can name, such as feature adoption, free-to-paid upgrades, time to first API call, or support tickets. - Team: Earned the team’s trust by making sound technical decisions, collaborating across functions, and improving code and design quality. - Direction : Proposed what the team should build next, backed by usage data and conversations with developers. Helpful Experience - Blockchain experience is helpful, not required. - Developer platforms, API products, cloud consoles, or enterprise developer tools, including SDKs, CLIs, MCP servers, agent tools, or machine-readable documentation. - Billing, metering, or pricing systems. - Temporal or another workflow orchestration system, plus caching and analytical data systems. - Observability, incident response, and performance optimization. - Blockchain products or developer tools, or agent payment and identity standards such as x402. - Open source contributions, talks, or technical writing.
